Terms & Conditions
These terms of use (these "Terms") set forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your access to and use of any websites, mobile sites, mobile applications, products, or services (the "Services") offered by Selvette, a brand of Orionwave Private Limited, a company registered under the Companies Act 2013. The "Customer," "you," "your" shall refer to any natural person or entity and its authorized users that subscribes to or uses the Services. Certain features of the Site may be subject to additional guidelines, terms, or rules, which will be posted on the Site in connection with such features. All such additional terms, guidelines, and rules are incorporated by reference into these Terms.
By accessing or using the Site, you are accepting these Terms (on behalf of yourself or the entity that you represent), and you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms (on behalf of yourself or the entity that you represent). You may not access or use the Site or accept the Terms if you are not at least 13 years old. If you do not agree with all of the provisions of these Terms, do not access and/or use the Site.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India (Section 10) and limit the remedies available to you in the event of a dispute (Section 8).
We may amend the Terms related to the Services from time to time. Amendments will be effective upon our posting of such updated Terms at this location or the amended policies or supplemental terms on the applicable Service. Your continued access or use of the Services after such posting constitutes your consent to be bound by the Terms, as amended.
1. Accounts
1.1 Account creation. In order to use certain features of the Site, you must register for an account ("Account") and provide certain information about yourself as prompted by the account registration form. You represent and warrant that: (a) all required registration information you submit is truthful and accurate; (b) you will maintain the accuracy of such information. You may delete your Account at any time, for any reason, by contacting us. Selvette may suspend or terminate your Account in accordance with Section 11.
1.2 Responsibilities. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account login information and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your Account. You agree to immediately notify Selvette of any unauthorized use, or suspected unauthorized use of your Account or any other breach of security. Selvette cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the above requirements.
1.3 Account types. We currently offer a free Account with limited functionality ("Free Account"), and various fee-bearing Accounts offering feature enhancements and credit allowances ("Paid Plans"). Credits and plan entitlements are consumed as described on the pricing page and in the product at the point of use.
2. The Selvette Service
Selvette provides AI-assisted product imagery services for merchants: studio photoshoot generation, storefront virtual try-on, 360° video, and Live AR try-on that merchants can embed on their own storefronts. Selvette provides the tooling; the products, product imagery, and storefront pages the experience runs on belong to and remain the responsibility of the merchant. Selvette does not guarantee that generated imagery is a factually accurate depiction of a product or a person, and is not a party to any transaction between a merchant and their shoppers.
3. Licenses
3.1 Selvette grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide right to access and use the Platform for your own internal business purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not permit unauthorized third parties to use the Platform. You shall not use the Platform in any jurisdiction where its use is restricted or prohibited by law. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Selvette.
3.2 Subject to these Terms and your plan's entitlements, imagery and video generated for you by the Service is licensed to you for your commercial use in connection with the products depicted. You are responsible for how you present generated imagery to your customers.
3.3 You grant Selvette a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your logo on the Selvette website, blog posts, and other marketing materials, unless you ask us in writing not to.
4. Privacy
We encourage you to read our Privacy Policy and use it to make informed decisions. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information about you, your shoppers, and your usage of the Platform — including how shopper photographs and the Live AR camera are handled. If you do not agree with our Privacy Policy, please stop using our services.
5. Proprietary Rights of Selvette
The Platform contains proprietary rights owned by Selvette and its licensors. You may not copy or create derivative works of the Platform for any reason, including framing technologies to enclose proprietary information. You agree not to reverse engineer or access the Platform to build a competitive product or service or copy any features, functions, or graphics. Unauthorized use of Selvette's intellectual property for commercial purposes is expressly prohibited.
6. General Representations and Warranties
You and Selvette each represent and warrant that:
- You are a legal entity validly existing under applicable laws.
- You have the authority to execute and deliver this Agreement and perform its obligations.
You further represent and warrant that:
- You own or hold all necessary rights to every image, product photograph, logo, and other material you upload to the Platform.
- You will not upload photographs of any person without that person's consent, and you will not use the Platform to generate imagery of an identifiable person without their consent.
- You will not present AI-generated imagery as an authentic photograph of a specific shopper or use it in a misleading or deceptive way.
You represent and warrant that you will not submit or publish through the Platform any content that:
- Exploits or harms children.
- Infringes any intellectual property or other rights of any entity or person.
- Constitutes any form of lottery or gambling.
- Is libelous, defamatory, invasive of privacy, obscene, pornographic, racist, abusive, harassing, threatening, or offensive.
- Constitutes unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, spam, chain letters, or any other form of unauthorized solicitation.
- Violates any law or may be considered to violate any law.
- Advocates or promotes illegal activity.
- Impersonates or misrepresents your connection to any other entity or person.
- Includes programs that contain viruses, worms, or other harmful code.
- Disrupts the normal operation of the Platform.
- Amounts to a pyramid scheme.
- Disobeys any policy or regulations established regarding the Platform's use.
Selvette reserves the right to terminate your membership or account without prior notice for violating these provisions. You are responsible for all material you upload, post, or transmit on the Platform.
7. Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only, and Selvette does not endorse, monitor, control, or verify the contents of any third-party websites. Selvette is not liable for any content accessed through these links.
8. Limitation on Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Selvette (or our suppliers) be liable to you or any third party for any lost profits, lost data, costs of procurement of substitute products, or any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of, or inability to use, the Platform, even if Selvette has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Access to and use of the Platform is at your own discretion and risk, and you will be solely responsible for any damage to your device or computer system or loss of data resulting therefrom.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, our liability to you for any damages arising from or related to this Agreement (for any cause whatsoever and regardless of the form of the action) will at all times be limited to a maximum of fifty US dollars (U.S. $50). The existence of more than one claim will not enlarge this limit. You agree that our suppliers will have no liability of any kind arising from or relating to this Agreement.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Selvette harmless against any damages, fees, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) related to a third-party claim arising from your use of the Platform, including your submission of information and the imagery you upload or generate.
10. Governing Law
All disputes are governed by the laws of India without regard to any conflict of law principles.
11. Term and Termination
- This Agreement commences on the date of your first use of the Platform and continues until all subscriptions have expired or have been terminated.
- Subscriptions automatically renew for additional periods unless you or Selvette provides notice of non-renewal at least 1 day before the end of the relevant subscription term.
- Termination may occur upon 30 days' written notice or immediately for a breach of these Terms.
12. Refund or Payment Upon Termination
If you terminate this Agreement, we will not charge the next payment fee after the effective date of termination. No refunds shall be offered once a service is deemed to have begun.
13. Copyright Notice
Copyright and other intellectual property rights exist on all text relating to Selvette's services and the content of the Platform.

15. News and Update Emails
By default, registering on the Platform means you agree to receive newsletters and updates. You can revoke your agreement by clicking "Unsubscribe" in our emails.
16. Other
These Terms constitute the entire Agreement between you and Selvette regarding your use of the Platform. Titles and headings of sections are for convenience only and do not affect the construction of any provision. If any term is held invalid by a competent court of law, it does not affect the validity and enforceability of the other terms herein. The Platform is not intended for children under 13 years old.
By accessing, registering, or using the Selvette Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
